New DREAMGIRLS production to record cast album
Sources say that Sony Broadway Masterworks will be recording the touring production of Dreamgirls (which originated at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem). The production features a new Act 2 opening number and duet version of Listen (written for the film).

Is this really happening? This story was published over 3 months ago, enough time to get out a CD.
