- The completed film ran close to 180 minutes. At the request of distributors, it was re-edited down to 117 minutes prior to release. Among the cut material were three songs that appeared on the soundtrack album, A Step in the Right Direction, With a Flair, and Don't Let Me Down. Over 20 minutes of footage, including "With a Flair," "Don't Let Me Down," and Nobody's Problems, as well as the complete Portebello Street Dance were restored for home video release in 2009.
