Butterfly Lovers: The Next Generation (梁祝下世傳奇) - 2006 Original Hong Kong Cast

Finally the much-anticipated stage show is produced while the concept album was out. The cast featured pop stars Denise Ho and Endy Chow with stage veterans Joe Leung and May Yueng. The score is composed of rock and pop music, with a story that include two different periods. Despite a rather complicated book, the musical is welcomed by critics and audiences, mostly due to the quality of the score and the extravagant costume design.
