A Little Night Music - 1990 Studio Cast - CD or CD-R? (and similar releases)

The two seconds silence isn't dependent on disc type it's just from not tweaking a default setting. I had an exchange with a French label a few years ago who had rereleased the 1980 Les Miserables and had included two seconds silence between tracks *on pressed discs*! Given the amount of continuous music it just ruined the whole thing. They tried to style it out, saying it was 'on the original' but had to admit in the end that it was an error.

Apologies, I just checked and it appears to have been a German label, not a French one which made the Les Miserables error. It's just a matter of making sure the disc is created DAO (disc at once) and not TAO (track at once).

So, should the 2019 release of this title Jay Records DDJAY 8034 (CD) be labeled as a CD-R? When did this DigiMix business start? I confess I ignored the notices because it just felt like a way to re-sell old content rather than add anything new.
