Kickstarter campaign for SEE ROCK CITY cast album
Writers Brad Alexander & Adam Mathias have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to record the original off-Broadway cast of SEE ROCK CITY & OTHER DESTINATIONS. They hope to raise $12,500 by August 17.

Telly Leung recording debut solo album
Telly Leung, who appeared in the recent Broadway revival of Godspell, is working on his debut solo recording on Yellow Sound Label. The recording will be released in December.
CLOSER THAN EVER to be recorded
The cast of York Theatre's Closer Than Ever (which closes July 14) will head into the studio next week to record a cast album. The production stars Jenn Colella, George Dvorsky, Christiane Noll, and Sal Viviano. Producer John Yap of Jay Records says that the CD will be "rushed out later this year."
Meanwhile, as teased in the following tweet, Jay Records is close to completing its long awaited studio recording of One Touch of Venus with Melissa Errico, Victoria Clark, Ron Raines, Judy Kaye, Michael McKinsey, and Jacob Lewis Smith.

SEE ROCK CITY & OTHER DESTINATIONS to be recorded
As tweeted by the authors and cast members, the original Off-Broadway cast of See Rock City & Other Destinations will reassemble to record a cast album. The production originally played the Duke on 42nd Street during the summer of 2010.
