Notes
Lead Connie Fisher was chosen for the role through the reality show "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria"
The six youngest Von Trapp children were triple cast (save Gretl, who was quadruple-cast). There is no indication of who sings what on the album.
The arrangement for the album version of "Something Good" is credited to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Robert Russell Bennett. This is presumably a misprint, as "Something Good" was originally orchestrated by Irwin Kostal for the 1965 film.

Notes
In the first release, Alexander Hanson (Captain Von Trapp) sings "*I* might have had a wicked childhood, *I* might have had a miserable youth" instead of "you." R&H demanded it be rerecorded for future pressings.
