A first time release soundtrack to "A Song is Born" including some of the best full-length 1947 Goldwyn Studios pre-recorded acetates, cuts from Capitol's "Giants Of Jazz" CC-106 album, alternate versions of songs from the film and an additional, spirited bonus performance of "A Song is Born" from a 1949 Armed Forces Radio Service "Jubilee" show by one of the film's musical stars, Louis Armstrong.
