The Skin Of Our Teeth - Composer's Demo

This is a great demo, a gem of a recording. Kander and Ebb prove their abilities as performers as well as composers. This is one of their better scores as well. The song "This Life" ranks with "New York, New York", "Cabaret" and "Stepping Out" as one of their masterpieces. "Military Man", "Nice People", "A Whole Lot Of Lovin'" and "He Always Comes Home To Me" are also showstoppers. Too bad the show got such bad reviews when it played at the Signature Theater in the late 90s. Hopefully, ALL ABOUT US the latest incarnation of this show will make it to Broadway. Their talent is sorely missed.
