My copy of this, bought in a record store in 1994 or 1995, will not load into iTunes. Anyone know why this might be? It just ignores it.

It doesn't work in Windows Media Player either. It's a widespread, disc-related issue.

i've requested several copies of that album from the library and gave up hope of having a high quality import of it.

I'm going to try now. I've requested the copy my library system has to see if it's the same one being discussed and if I can get a 320 kbps import out of it. I'm pretty sure I've already done it once long ago...

No differences that I can recall but I didn't keep the original copy to compare.

So my library system doesn't have this album anymore, but I checked the original files that I have, and they're all 256 kbps and were downloaded using iTunes 10.2.2, so I got them within at least 2 or 3 years, possibly.
