Can anyone explain why this is called a studio recording as opposed to a soundtrack? The copies I have sound exactly like the film. Just wondering.

The Decca album of 8 selections from HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSON are indeed studio recordings of the songs from the film. rnrnGordon Jenkins conducts the orchestra (Walter Scharf conducts the orchestra in the film) and Jane Wyman appears on "No Two People" (she was not in the film. Jeanmaire performed the song in the film.)
