Evil Dead - 2006 Original Off-Broadway Cast

Adapted from the cult classical movie of the same name, this musical started its journey in Canada. The tone of the musical is vastly different from the original horror film, which is funny, campy, noisy and energetic. The only thing in common is the low production cost. Premiered in a small club in Canada, the musical successful win its audiences by its tuneful rock score, serviceable bloody (literally) lyrics (which comprised with a team of professionals), and astounding movements by Hinton Battle. After 3 years, the show finally made it to NY, and had a 126-perf run off-broadway. Here are some of the songs I like: "Cabin in the Woods", "Houseware Employee", "What the F*** was That", "Good Old Reliable Jake", "Do the Necronomicon" and the unmissable "All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons".
