Anthony Rapp records WITHOUT YOU for PS Classics

Recording CoverWithout You, Anthony Rapp's one-man show based on his NY Times best-selling memoir, was recorded by PS Classics on September 17. The show, which documents Rapp's experience in RENT and his mother's battle with cancer, most recently played London’s Menier Chocolate Factory. The album will be released on November 27.

Additionally, PS Classics is re-releasing Christine Andreas' 2003 recording The Carlyle Set. Based on Andreas’s sold-out engagement at New York’s Café Carlyle, the album features an irresistible blend of theater and pop songs, highlighted by soaring and emotive performances of such songs as the Legrand/Bergman classic "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?," a heartbreaking version of Marvin Hamlisch and Ed Kleban’s "At the Ballet," jazzy, playful takes on Lerner & Loewe’s "Show Me" and Rodgers & Hart’s "It’s Got to Be Love," and a bittersweet take on Duke Ellington’s "In a Sentimental Mood," among others.
