History of the website
CastAlbums.org got its start when I created an online annotated bibliography, the Cast Recording Resource Guide, of cast recording reference works (print & online) in 1998 while working on my Masters in Library Science.
Mike Benedetto later took this bibliography and combined it with David Levy's Cast Recordings FAQ to create the Cast Recording FAQ at castalbums.org.
Coming full circle, in late 2006, Mike & I worked to revamp the Cast Recordings FAQ as a cast album discography database, modeled after soundtrackcollector.com.
